I could feel myself shaking as Nate drove his motorcycle down the road. It felt like I was about to fall off. I was terrified at the thought of accidentally letting go, then falling to the ground when we're going 100 miles an hour. I knew that if I fell off right now, I would die, and it would be a very painful way to go. I was leaning really close to Nate so that every time he stopped at a stop-sign, I would jerk forward a little and the helmet would bump Nate in the back of the head.
